The wedding will be held on Saturday, May 06th, 2023 at Chester Cathedral.

We know that households are facing impossible choices this winter between heating or eating. We hopes this funding alongside our grants to other similar charities will help people ,and children in particular, have access to healthy food when they need it most.

We are making this emergency funding available in addition to the usual grant giving programme by The Westminster Foundation in response to the growing crisis.

We hopes to support thousands of families and homeless facing immediate food insecurity over the next months by making several substantial grants.

The majority of our grants will be made to charities and foodbanks in Westminster and Chester but will also be made to organisations operating in rural areas around the UK hit hard by the cost-of-living crisis over the Autumn and Winter months including Lancashire, Flintshire and Sutherland.

Many homes on the Grosvenor Estate have already received, through the late Lord Gerald or by the Duke of Westminster, energy improvements to reduce carbon signatures and material/energy cost.

In addition, the protective measures taken during the covid pandemic will be renewed for tenants and businesses that have chosen to trust the Grosvenor Group Ltd.

Rents will be frozen and any privileges granted by the family to our past, present and future employees will not be suspended.

Others grants will be made for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

No grant can not substitue to real sustainable actions taken by the authorities.

A new year full of challenges awaits us and we wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our partners and the incredible charities and individuals we work with. The Westminster Foundation team, Hughie, me and our family feel fortunate to work alongside such inspiring people and organisations.

We are always struck by the positivity and passion of the charities and individuals we support. They have once again reacted to the greatest demand for their service with innovation and flexibility, helping children and young people when they need it the most but also others individuals facing the difficulties of the crisis, including in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Your actions and ours reflect the best and values we hold dear in our country.

Thank you.  

In total more than twenty four million pounds of energy vouchers, meals and basic necessities have been distributed, doubling the capacity of food banks and associations that have enabled more than one million people in the United Kingdom, including many homeless people, to benefit from them this winter even if these services have had to show courage and inventiveness.

Christmas was an opportunity to distribute parcels and gifts to children in Cheshire, Lancashire, Sutherland and Flintshire, as well as in the Westminster and Kesington districts. We would like to thank everyone especially the people of these districts for the warm welcome I and my father gave on a walk along the Thames. There are times in my life when I have felt special and this is because of you. Thank you.

I know that these titles that will soon be conferred on me will only be honorary. We appreciate our discretion and it seems I take it very seriously but after almost two years of observing how our Estates are managed and how much the Grosvenors have invested in certain regions for centuries it could not be otherwise.

I knew the rhinestones and glitter of Hollywood but you know that I am not a woman seeking light at all costs. There are causes that deserve to be defended and taken seriously. There are far too many. The resources required are too immense (even for us) and sadly imperfect choices will be necessary.

We will be blamed for a lot of things but i will never changed who I am or what i'm thinking about gender equality. You know I love you I sometimes take breaks and I insist on the fact that being famous does not necessarily mean belonging to others. Some will see whatever they want but it seems to me that it is up to me to decide what I want to do even if I told you that being a role model was impossible to hold because as a human being I am imperfect and doomed to disappoint the countless opinions and certain preconceived ideas.

I only created my social networks for my work, to communicate with you, not to expose my privacy or that part of me that I am supposed to protect. We do not wish to associate ourselves with polemics, answer private questions or requests of this type. Our desire for discretion remains unchanged.

I hope that the questions that have been raised recently have been clearly answered.

One last point needs to be clarified in order to definitively close the debate.

In agreement with my fiancé my future status as Duchess of Westminster will not be treated as inferior to him. We will speak with one voice or separately and both will have the same strength and value.

I will soon be appointed Administrator of the Grosvenor Estate like her mother and sisters but with the same power as my fiancé, i.e. in a tie vote his vote will count no more than mine.

I do not intend to limit myself to charitable actions, fundraising, visits and to this privilege conferred on the Duke's wife to see to the decoration, the collections of works of art and the good keeping of the household.

I'm supporting the association "Daughters Rights".
You know what that means.
I know this is a "complex" issue and it's not a problem inside the family.

The College of Arms, London, on behalf of the letter pattent under the Great Seal of the Realm signed by His Majesty the King Charles III is pleased to annouce the creation of the Watson's Family Coat of arms.

Choisir une tenue d'un designer Britannique est très recommandé pour les Britanniques.

Les téléphones portables, les appareils photos et plus largement tout objet capable d'enregistrer, de capter, et/ou diffuser sont interdits. Ceux-ci vous seront confisqués si vous vous présentez avec l'un d'eux. Des portiques de sécurité destinés à assurer la sécurité de la famille Royale et des invités seront installés aux issues. L'entrée vous sera refusée si vous refuser de coopérer. Il en ira de même pour le vin d'honneur et le dîner.

Les selfies, les posts ou les confidences sur les réseaux sociaux et dans les médias sont inconvenants.

Les vapoteurs, cigarettes et cigares sont interdits.

Les chewing gum sont interdits.

Les places ont été attribuées et numérotées. Le numéro figure sur votre carton d'invitation. Vous n'êtes pas autorisés à vous asseoir où bon vous semble.

Seule la mariée est autorisée à porter une tiare.
Si vous êtes une femme mariée et si vous avez reçu ce droit, vous y serez autorisés lors du dîner.

Les tâlons hauts sont acceptés, mais veillez à ce qu'ils ne soient pas trop haut perchés. Les chaussures féminines ne devront pas montrer les orteils.

Les femmes doivent éviter de porter des vêtements trop transparents, vaporeux et/ou trop courts. Montrer ses jambes et/ou les épaules n'est pas approprié. N’incluez pas d’ourlets courts ni de décolletés.

Si vous avez été honoré(e) par un titre officiel, une récompense officielle (comme une médaille), assurez-vous de le porter correctement. La tradition veut que tous les honneurs soient portés sur le revers gauche ou sur le côté gauche de la poitrine.

Pas de blanc, de crème, de blanc cassé et de noir pour les tenues. Pas de bleu royal ou de bleu ciel pour les hommes.

Les femmes ne pourront pas porter de rouge, de blanc, de blanc cassé ou du noir durant le vin d'honneur et le dîner.

Les uniformes militaires (si vous êtes militaires ou militaire à la retraite), les jaquettes (morning suit/coat), les complets (lounge suit) bleu marine ou gris avec veste de costume à poitrine unique avec queue, gilet, pantalon à rayures et chemise blanche sont recommandés. Les accessoires criards doivent être évités. Un chapeau haut de forme est recommandé, mais non obligatoire. Vous le porterez à la main avant d'entrer dans la cathédrale.

Les robes ou les tailleurs de cérémonie ne doivent pas être trop courtes ou trop révélatrices avec une veste sur mesure ou un blazer en option. Un chapeau est recommandé. Vous resterez couverte à l'intérieur de la cathédrale. Veillez à ce que celui-ci ne soit pas trop énorme et que celui-ci n'attire pas trop l'attention.

En matière de tenue et de chapeau certains compromis peuvent être autorisés par les futurs mariés.

Optez toujours pour une pochette - ou un sac de la taille d’une pochette. Une pochette est toujours une option plus élégante et raffinée qu’un sac à main maladroit.

En présence du Roi, des mariés, d'un Duc ou d'une Duchesse ou d'une Altesse Royale, il est approprié de se courber ou de faire la révérence. Les étrangers ne sont pas dans l'obligation de respecter ce principe, mais il sera considéré comme une marque de respect.

Gardez toujours vos mains le long du corps lorsque vous êtes debouts et sur vos genoux lorsque vous êtes à table.

Ne mettez pas vos mains dans les poches.

Les poignées de main ne doivent pas être trop longues ni trop courtes et fermes, mais pas trop. Maintenez un contact visuel amical.

Le protocole suggère que vous ne devriez pas approcher le Roi, un membre de la noblesse ou de la famille Royale ou lui poser des questions. Il ne faut jamais les toucher à moins qu’il ou elle ne vous tende la main. Quand vous rencontrez l'un d'eux, il tend la main en premier et vous vous adressez à lui en tant que Votre Majesté ou selon son rang. Vous pourrez ensuite alterner avec Monsieur/Madame ou Votre Majesté ou selon le rang de l'individu concerné.

Ne posez jamais de questions, y compris en relation avec la vie privée, la sexualité, la religion, la politique ou toute source de polémique ou de malaise.

Les propos ou blagues vulgaires sont à éviter.

Il est acceptable de se mêler et de discuter avec les autres invités jusqu’à l’arrivée du couple marié ou de la famille Royale. Dès que la fête commence officiellement, cependant, on s’attend à ce que vous preniez votre siège tout de suite. Pour cette raison, il est courant de vous informer entièrement de l’endroit où vos hôtes vous ont demandé de vous asseoir afin que vous puissiez trouver votre chemin vers votre table ou votre siège dès que cela vous est demandé.

Lors de réception ou de repas personne ne peut commencer à manger tant que le Roi n'a pas commencé. Votre plat est considéré comme terminé lorsque le Roi a terminé.

Votre serviette de table doit être maintenue sur vos genoux. Celui-ci ne doit pas être retiré de la table et placé sur les genoux jusqu’à ce que le Roi l’ait fait. Une fois qu’il est là, pliez-le en deux au milieu. Chaque fois que vous devez l’utiliser, essuyez votre bouche dans le pli, puis pliez-le à nouveau pour couvrir les marques disgracieuses. Gardez-le hors de la table jusqu’à ce que le repas soit terminé.

Ne changez pas de conversation. Laissez aux mariés ou au Roi le soin de la diriger. Ne vous lancez pas dans des conversations séparées ou indépendantes. Elles seront perçues comme très impolies. Attendez d'y être autorisée avant de changer de conversation ou d'interlocuteur.

Au niveau des couverts, utilisez les premiers situés aux extrémités de vos mains. Plus le repas avance et plus vos couverts seront rapprochés de votre assiette. A chaque étape du repas, les couverts inutiles seront retirés.

Le protocole à la table à manger dicte que les conversations commencent avec la personne assise à votre droite pendant le premier plat, puis passent à gauche lorsque le prochain plat est servi.

Ne proposez pas de toast (sauf si on vous l’a demandé).
